FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

​

  • We are open daily, 8am to 4pm (last restaurant seating at 3pm) – from early May to late September. 

  • Our opening and closing dates will be updated on our website for each season when they are finalized. 

  • Yes, we are open for all of the holidays during this season including Victoria Day, Canada Day, Terry Fox Day and Labour Day.

 

DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?

​

  • No, we are first come first served. Send one person inside from your party to see the host and we will gladly seat you or add your party to the seating list. We kindly ask that you wait outside in the designated waiting area (the rocks on the west side with the sign pole). We will come outside and call your name as soon as your table is ready. 

 

CAN I PRE-ORDER CINNAMON BUNS?

​

  • Yes, we take pre-orders for cinnamon buns (Original, Maple or Cream Cheese) for two dozen or more. 

  • Cinnamon Bun pre-orders will be available for pickup after 10am on the date of your choice. 

  • Sorry, Pecan Cherry Cinnamon Buns are not available for pre-order. There is a limited amount available at the Bakery Counter every morning.

 

HOW DO I PICK UP MY PRE-ORDER?

  • Pre-orders can be picked up after 10am (orders including cinnamon buns only)

  • If your order is pre-paid you can check in with the host and let them know that you are here for a Cinnamon Bun pre order pickup and kindly wait outside, we will bring them out to you. 

  • If your order is not already paid for, please join in the bakery counter line and we will help you at the Bakery Counter.

 

DO YOU HAVE SAUSAGE ROLLS?

​

  • Yes. It is a minimum of six per order.

  • We make them fresh per order so please give one hours notice to have them ready for you. 

 

WE ARE A LARGE GROUP; CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE US?

​

  • We have one table inside that can accommodate up to eight people. 

  • All other tables inside or outside seat six people or less. 

  • We do not move tables to accommodate group size.

 

CAN I ORDER AT THE BAKERY COUNTER AND SIT ATz A TABLE?

 

  • All our indoor tables are table service ONLY! You are more than welcome to order something from the Bakery Counter through your server while seated at a table. 

 

CAN I EAT MY TAKE-OUT AT A PATIO TABLE?

 

  • All our patio tables are table service only. However, there are some days that we are not able to serve them, and they will be clearly marked that you are able to eat our take-out there. This varies daily.

DO YOU DO TAKE-OUT ORDERS?

​

  • Yes, we do take-out orders. However, availability will vary based on demand. 

  • Take-out orders are limited to six plates per order.  

 

FOOD SENSITIVITIES

​

  • It should be clear that we are NOT a nut free, gluten free, dairy free or egg free facility.

  • All of the above items are in the facility and cross contamination is always a possibility. 

  • Please see our menu page for our Gluten Free/Vegan menu aide.

  • Our phone messages, Instagram comments/messages and Facebook comments/messages are not monitored.

I WANT TO VISIT YOUR RESTAURANT/BAKERY, WHEN I GET THERE. WHAT DO I DO?

​

  • If you are wanting to sit in the restaurant or on the patio, send in one person from your group, enter the right-hand door and check-in with the host to be seated. (You do not have to wait in the bakery counter line for the restaurant!) If there is a wait list for tables, your name will be added, and we will come outside to call your name when your table is ready. We kindly ask that you wait outside in the designated waiting area (the rocks on the west side with the sign pole). 

  • If you are looking for take-out from the Bakery Counter, you will enter through the left-hand door, follow the roped line and we will gladly serve you at the Bakery Counter. 

 

 

A FEW OTHER THINGS TO MENTION

 

  • We kindly ask that you provide the same courteousy to others eating that you would also appreciate. 

    • Please do not sit on the planters next to the patio tables. 

    • Please do not lean on the deck railing over the patio tables.

  • Please wait in the designated waiting area outside. It is a small building and can become crowded if there are people waiting inside for a table, you will get the same space to eat when it is your turn.
